China has a food and cooking culture that is over thousands of years old. This book shows the attempt to illustrate this history and the relationships between traditional Chinese culture, its cooks and eating habits. With the help of own photographs and selected illustrations, four different regions of China are shown on 60 pages, their places, the people and the unique and special dishes in each case.
China hat eine über tausende Jahre alte Ess- und Kochkultur. Dies Buch zeigt den Versuch diese Geschichte und die Beziehungen zwischen der traditionellen chinesischen Kultur, ihrer Köche und den Essgewohnheiten zu illustrieren. Mithilfe eigener Fotografien und ausgesuchten Darstellungen werden auf 60 Seiten vier verschiedene Regionen Chinas gezeigt, ihre Orte, die Menschen und die jeweils einzigartigen und speziellen Gerichte.
